Namitatsu clothing - Japan
For the past few years, my amazing Aunt Miho from Japan has been sending our whole family Namitatsu T-shirts (made in Japan), knowing that we love to rock a modern take on Japanese motif fashion. The shirts are well made using high quality materials with nicely screen printed designs and beautiful touches of embroidery work. We love the shirts by Namitatsu which the direct translation means "wave rider".
Check out all the designs here.

Cool Skateboard Chopstick Rests
I want these Talky Pika Pika Skateboard Chopstick Rests! They would be a fun addition to the place setting for a dinner party. They would even make a cute gift, especially with the nice packaging. Japanese cutlery staple Talky created these. While white, blue, yellow and pink rests are available at¥1,890 (approximately $20 USD,) a choice of gold and platinum rests are priced at ¥2,940 (approximately $30 USD) for those looking for a bit more shine. Available via the Parco-City online store.

Happy Weekend!
J and Maya will be attending the Enchanted Father Daughter Dance this evening for Maya's elementary school. It is a formal affair with suit and tie for the papas and cute frilly frocks for the little ladies...well
bow tie in J's case. I have little man Jaxon all to myself and we plan to hit the town just the two of us!
Have a nice weekend!

Shopping bag handle turned flower hair clip
1. I cut off both bag handles then cut into equal strips. I made a puffy center with scrap fabric and filled with cotton. |
2. Fold each handle in half and fasten to the centerpiece. |
3. Added felt leaves, sequence, and feathers. Sewed on the hair clip to the back. |
By the way, I used the Urban Outfitters shopping bag handles to make this hair clip.
