Painting Progress

I started on the wave over the weekend.
It started to rain on me by the time I got to the larger wave.

Happy New Year!

I took about a month off from everything so that I could focus on my family. My father had shoulder surgery while my mother had to fly on a whim to Japan to take care of my ailing grandmother. We lived with my father for 10 days so that we could care for him while my mom was away. My in-laws whom usually visit during the holidays were unable to do so due to my grandmother-in-law who was also recovering from a recent surgery. The end of 2014 was challenging, and although we were unable to celebrate the holidays as we usually do, I am happy to say everyone is healthy and doing well now so that is all that matters. 

I started 2015 with a new commissioned painting project. 

Here's to a sunny 2015!

Added some "yang" to the "yin" over the weekend.
Basically balancing the feminine energy with some bold graphix.

Wall painting

This is my current project I started over the weekend.
I decided to go with an avocado green for this wall.

My ode to Hawaii to start things off...reminding me of the beautiful place, lovely people, and "ono grinds"!  J's from Hawaii, it's my second home and a big part of our culture.
 Lulu always keeps me company as I work.

Second Layer

Wall painting

I'm almost done.
This year I plan to do more larger wall painting projects.
This one was all white latex on black, but I wish to use more colors in my upcoming ones.

Freestyle Painting

I like to work without a plan. Just me, my music, and a paint brush. I never know what's going to happen next....going with the flow. A work in progress.....
